Jarrod Shaw: I Run For Those That Can't Run, I Jump For Those That Can't Jump

W680 jarrod shaw vertical We invite you to get to know our amazing D10 Board Members. Jarrod Shaw sits on the Board of The D10 Chicago. An incredibly self-motivated man who understands the value of hard work.

There are two kinds of motivational speakers in this world: those who list the job title on their LinkedIn profiles, and those who motivate others by often quiet example. Count Jarrod Shaw in the latter category.

Jarrod Shaw can't relate an origin story for his own internal drive, he merely remembers when it clicked. In eighth grade, Jarrod took honors as an MVP and something inside him said quite strongly, "Success feels good." It… Read More

D10 Chicago newcomer, Kevin Ward, has high hopes for his first Game Day. It's singular -- Top Male Athlete. Brash? Maybe. They teach brash at Iowa football.

The former Iowa Hawkeye defensive and special teams standout drives himself when it comes to training for his inaugural D10 competition. He uses no coaches, no trainers, no workout partners. It's Kevin Ward against Kevin Ward, trying to overcome that D10 hurdle facing all former football players -- how the heck do you run an 800M?

Luckily for Kevin, before he added pounds for college ball, he was a… Read More

Mark Mol: Sweating At The D10 Philly In Honor Of His Amazing Cousin

W680 mark john and greg mol
The fact of work-life: when the boss casually mentions his adorable daughter is selling Girl Scout Cookies, you‘re going home with three boxes of Tagalongs that day. And when the boss says he’s looking for a few good women and men to compete in a worthy sports charity event, and you’re an avid runner, you’re now on the list.

Such are the innocent beginnings of a great re-awakening for Mark Mol of Macquarie Investment Management in Philadelphia. Mark works at the sales desk. Smile and dial. Little did he know that an ingratiating nod to the higher-ups at his office would…

The D10 Philly 2019 Program Is Here!

W680 phillyprogramcoverpagerev In 2019, The D10 expanded from four cities into multiple new markets across the country. Philadelphia is the first of these new D10 cities; the birthplace of our nation and bubble gum (colored pink quite by happenstance).

Philadelphia has moxie, grit, and most importantly, Philadelphians. Many of our outstanding NYC athletes hail from the Philly-area, now they have a D10 to call their own. This is the first year in Philly; we expect it to be a powerhouse for athletic prowess and pediatric cancer fundraising alike.

Digital Game Day programs for Philly can be downloaded: HERE.
