A note from Decathlon HQ...

A terrific seventh annual Wall St. Decathlon took place over the weekend, with some incredible athletic performances that helped the event surpass $5 million raised all time for pediatric cancer research!

Bringing out the toughest competition amongst Wall Street's most prestigious athletes, the event garnered media attention from outlets like CNBC and Business Insider (check out this piece on Laura Placentra, this feature on Mark Rubin, and this coverage featuring event photos).

We'd like to take a moment to congratulate all of the participants for a great weekend of competition. A big shoutout goes to our winners: Team Athlete from Goldman Sachs in the team competition, Mark Rubin of ICAP with 7683 points in the individual competition (winning the title for the fourth year in a row!), and Laura Placentra of Citigroup, who took home the women's title for best athlete with a total of 6383 points.

Coming in second and third overall for men were Collin Zych of Greenhill & Co., totaling 7462 points, and Jay Li of Trafelet Brokaw & Co., who finished with 7385 points. For women, we had Evelyn Konrad of Wells Fargo and Francie Ward of CVC Credit Partners finish second and third overall, with 6034 and 4880 points, respectively.
